Calypso Communications Joins Forces with BreastCancerStories.org
Firm Will Raise Awareness for Fundraising Events
Calypso Communications, a full-service marketing, public relations, and graphic design firm based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has agreed to provide media relations and strategic consulting services to BreastCancerStories.org, a local non-profit organization that provides people affected by breast cancer an online networking environment to keep family updated as they progress through treatment and connect with other Survivors and Care Givers. Calypso will help the organization raise awareness specifically for two major fundraising events to be held during the summer.
BreastCancerStories.org has two major upcoming fundraising events: The CELEBRATEPINK Rockin’ Bowl-A-Thon will take place August 29th at the Bowl-O-Rama Family Fun Center located at 599 Lafayette Road, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The CELEBRATEPINK 5K Road Race and Walk will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Part of the new Portsmouth Community Road Race Series (www.pcrrs.org) the race will trail through downtown Portsmouth and over the Memorial Bridge, looping back to end near Prescott Park. Serious runners as well as walkers are being encouraged to participate.
