Kevin Stickney – Founder

Kevin has nearly thirty years’ executive-level experience in managing complex public affairs issues involving environmental technology and a range of other industries. He is an expert in national media relations strategies and comprehensive employee, investor, and marketing communications programs for legislative, labor, and regulatory matters; manufacturing sectors; service sector businesses; and capital project business development.

Kevin served as VP of Marketing at Internet education pioneer WebED, Inc.; VP of Communications and Director of Public Affairs at Wheelabrator Technologies Inc.; Director of Public Affairs, Wheelabrator Environmental Systems Inc.; Communications and Project Manager, Signal Environmental Systems, Inc.; and Operations Analyst, Wheelabrator-Frye, Inc. Kevin was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Korea; an English Instructor at ChungAng University in Seoul, South Korea; an Advertising and Marketing Instructor at the University of New Hampshire, New England College, and Antioch New England Graduate School.

Kevin earned a B.A. in English, with a Minor in Mechanical Engineering from Union College and University and an M.A. in Linguistics, Harvard University Extension. Prior to starting Calypso, Kevin was founder and President of Allagash Communications.
